Emergency Vehicle Lights & Sirens Parade

7:00 p.m is step off time for this exciting event. The parade will line up at Tinsel Town and head north on route 31 to John street, west on John to Willowway where is will head north to Oak St., then west on Oak and finally south on Randall to the festival site.

Night - Light Golf                 Location: Valley Green Golf Course

Kids Ice Cream Eating Contests     Location: Clocktower Plaza

A big bowl of Oberweis Dairy ice cream and no hands allowed - delicious fun! Parents will need to sign their son/daughter up prior to the event on Friday near the emergency tent, on a first come-first served basis. Prizes will be awarded to the fastest eater in each age group. (ages 5 - 12)

This is a charity event for the North Aurora River District Alliance (NOARDA), the West Aurora High CC and Track Teams and local twin boys with Cerebral Palsy.

For Children 15 years old and under. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Bait will be supplied. Fishing poles available upon request (with preregistration)

Cost is $5.00 ($3.00 if preregistered).  Prizes for most fish, biggest fish and various other categories.   [This is a private lake. Fished will be allowed during the derby - at all other times it is closed to the public].

Location: Fearn West Baseball Field (adjacent to Jewel Middle School and Fearn Elementary) and Goodwin South Baseball Field (adjacent to Goodwin Elementary).

Free Horse Rides!!                       Location: Huntoon Stables

Huntoon Stables presents free horseback rides and a Saddle Up for St. Jude event on August 6th from 4pm-5pm!  All children age 12 and under are invited to come visit the horses at the stable and enjoy a free ride in our indoor arena.  In addition to the free rides, Huntoon Stables presents Saddle up for St. Jude!  Any donations received during the day on Saturday will be sent to St. Jude Research Hospital.  Donations are not necessary for entry to the event or to enjoy the free rides!  All riders will be led at all times during the event.    Please come out and enjoy an afternoon at the stable, and help us support a very worthy cause!!

Baggo Classic Bean Bag Tournament

The North Aurora Days festival presents the second annual North Aurora Baggo Classic! The Classic is a 32-team, double-elimination bean bag tournament. It will take place on Saturday, August 6, 2011, from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

The entry fee is $40 per team and cash prizes will be awarded to the top four teams, including a whopping $500 for first place! Pre-registration is required, visit the North Aurora Days website (www.northauroradays.com) for details.

Raffle tickets will be sold for your chance to win one of the eight Baggo boards used in the tournament ($120 value each). Proceeds from the tournament and raffle will benefit Emily's Hope, a North Aurora-based charity dedicated to diabetes research and awareness.
